Stella van de Wetering, Dr., was working recently as lecturer at VU University, Faculty of Religion and Theology, Centre of Islamic Theology (CIT) and Inholland University Amsterdam, Department of Education and Innovation, at the Teacher Training Program for Teachers Islam. She has graduated in Arabic language and Arabic Islamic Culture. She was teaching classes of students at the bachelor of religious studies (course Islam) and the teacher training program Islam and religious education. Her field of expertise is Arabic language, Gender and Islamic Theology, Islamic Pedagogy, Islamic Education and Interreligious Dialogue. Since June 2020 she has been retired.

Etwa 580.000 von ihnen sind Schulpflichtige im Alter von 6–18 Jahren, die erst zu einem geringen Teil die Möglichkeit haben, sich im Rahmen ihrer schulischen Ausbildung religiös zu informieren.
